Your Angels put that penny in your path for a special reason. There is something you need to do right now to ensure you get what you want out of life. It might not seem like doing this is going to help you in the long run, but you should really follow your Angels’ advice on this one.
Why? Because the more you do this the more, you’re going to increase your good karma. And the better karma you have, the more things will go your way in the future. Now is the perfect time to get your karma points. How do you do that? By helping others.
That’s right. At the moment your sole focus should be to help others as much as you can. Luckily there are a lot of different ways you can help others. Here are the five steps you need to follow now to make sure that you’re making the most of this time:
Step 1: Be Emotionally Supportive
Being emotionally supportive doesn’t take much effort. And it’s a sure-fire way to make a difference in someone else’s life. You can be more supportive of friends and family by just listening to them and giving them some advice if they need it.
But do make sure that you aren’t forceful with your advice. Unsolicited advice isn’t what emotional support is all about. Emotional support is about creating a safe space for someone to share their problems. So, you can’t go around judging them. You need to learn to see the world through their eyes and give advice that will work for them.
Step 2: Volunteer Your Free Time
Another way to make sure that you’re helping others is by volunteering your free time. This is one of the best ways to care for others. There are a lot of things you can spend your free time doing.
For example, you can volunteer at your nearest homeless shelter. Or if people aren’t your thing, consider volunteering at an animal shelter. Remember, you time is one of the biggest gifts you can give. And it’s one of the easiest ways to up your karma points right now.
Step 3: Spend Quality Time with Someone
You might not realize it but spending quality time with someone that is close to you can be a way of helping them. Just being there and sharing good times together can be the thing they need to help them get through the day.
This goes hand in hand with being emotionally supportive, but it’s different in the sense that you don’t have to talk about the deep stuff. You can just do something that you both enjoy. Like watching a movie together or going on a picnic.
Step 4: Help Those in Need
If you’re financially able it’s always a good idea to help those that are less fortunate than you. That doesn’t mean forking out all your cash. Something as simple as buying food for the person that’s always standing on the corner begging is already a huge step in the right direction.
But there is another way you can help others in need. You can help them find a job. You don’t have to give them a job, but a lot of homeless people are actually skilled workers and they are just down on their luck. So, make an effort to see if you can help them find a suitable job.
Step 5: Donate What You Don’t Need
This is one of the simplest ways to help others. And in the process, you’ll be helping yourself too. Why? Because you’ll be decluttering your life. If you donate whatever things, you never use, you’ll not only be giving to the less fortunate, but you’ll also be taking away all the things that are holding you back.
That’s right. You don’t need much to survive in this world. And the more minimalistic you live the more room you make for new and better things to enter your life. And that penny you found is a sign that good things are on their way to you, so it’s definitely time to start making some space!
