That special smell you smelled is a definite sign from the Universe. You may have been feeling quite alone. Like it’s you against the world. It’s no secret. You’ve been through a lot. But the Universe is here to let you know that you don’t have to keep going through life alone.
That’s right. Comfort is on its way to you and it’s going to make all the difference. But what kind of comfort can you expect? Well that all depends on what kind of comfort you’re after. Do you want the comfort of knowing that all your bills have been paid? Or maybe you want the reassurance that someone is caring for you?
Whatever the type of comfort is that you’re looking for there is a big thing that you need to do. You need to face that trauma that’s made you so uncomfortable. You need to heal from it. And the more you can heal the more comfort you’re going to find.
Letting Go of the Grief
One of the most difficult things to do when it comes to healing trauma is letting go of grief. You feel hard done by. Like the Universe is against you because you had to go through a very difficult time. It’s time you lost. Time you’ll never get back. And most importantly time you spent being hurt.
But to let go of the trauma you need to let go of that grief you feel towards the Universe and the people that harmed you. You need to say ‘hold on a minute, I’m worth more than that. I’m worth all the blessings.’ But to get to that point you need to go through the five stages of grief first.
The smell you smell has triggered five stages of grief in you. You are going to deny it at first, then you’re going to get angry. Next, you’re going to start bargaining and being depressed about what happened to you. Saying it wasn’t so bad and then realizing that it was that bad. And finally, the thing that the smell signified is going to happen. You’re going to find comfort in acceptance.
Allowing Comfort to Take Hold
But allowing comfort to take hold isn’t going to be easy. You’re going to doubt the fact that you’re allowed to be comfortable at first. Especially if the trauma you’re letting go of was really bad for you. The more difficult the trauma was, the more difficult it’s going to be to start trusting the Universe again.
But that smell is a reminder that the Universe is always there to help you get back up. It’s a nudge from the Universe saying that you are worth it and you are allowed to find comfort in your life. You might not believe it right now, but you can have a comfortable life again. It’s what the Universe wants for you.
So why did you have to go through all that trauma? Well, it was to teach you a lesson. Do you know what that lesson is? It might be something practical, but more often than not there is a spiritual lesson hidden in each and every trauma that we endure. The best way to find comfort again is to learn that spiritual lesson and start living life differently.
Living The Luxurious Life
Once you’ve figured out what the lesson was you’ll soon find that your life becomes way more luxurious than you ever thought possible. But letting that comfort take hold is something you’re going to have to work on. Here’s an exercise you can try to help you flip your brain from a lacking to a loving mindset:
Get a piece of paper and a pen. Write down the biggest ways in which you’re hurting. For example, you might be feeling sad because you lost someone. You might be angry because of what someone did to you. Be as specific as you can be.
Next write down the opposite emotions on the other side of the page. If you’re sad about something, write down what you’re happy about. If you’re angry about something, write what you’re satisfied with. The more you can identify the good emotions in your life and replace the bad emotions the more comfort you’re going to find.
