That smell you smelled has a reason for coming to you. Imagine the Universe is blowing a fresh scent your way. That scent has triggered something inside of you. It’s made you think of something. And now you’re wondering if that thought was true.
Yes. That thought is something you should hold onto. It’s a sign that you’re about to go through a phase of spiritual enlightenment. But you’re going to have to go through some dark times before you get to a higher state of consciousness.
It isn’t easy to ascend. You need to make sure that you’re ready to let go of the trauma and pain that’s holding you back. And when you become spiritually enlightened it’s going to feel like you’re reliving that trauma. But there are a few things you can do to make sure that you get through this phase of your life in the best way possible.
Take It Easy
You’re going to need a lot of sleep at the moment. Sleep helps your body and mind to acclimatize to the new things that are taking place in your life. It’s restorative and you’re going to need all the energy you can get to make it through these next couple of weeks. That smell you smelled and the things you remembered are just the beginning.
That’s right. You’re about to transform and it can all be for the better as long as you aren’t too hard on yourself. Setting goals now is a good idea. But make sure that they’re small, doable goals that won’t take too much effort to complete. You want to give yourself a sense of accomplishment on a daily basis so that you don’t become overwhelmed.
What type of goals should you be setting? Anything spiritual will do the trick. Whether it’s meditating or praying. Make sure that you do one small spiritual thing each and every day. The more you can increase your spiritual practice the easier it will be for you to ascend to a higher level of consciousness.
Indulge A Little
Besides not being too hard on yourself you should also take a lot of care to conserve your energy right now. Most of your energy is being burned as your mind and body adjust to a higher state of consciousness. That means you will have a lot of dark days right now. And that can drain your energy even more.
That’s why it’s important to indulge yourself a little right now. You should take time out and do things that are fun. You don’t have to be as productive as you usually are. The more you can relax now the easier it will be to work through the traumas of the past.
And speaking of traumas. You’ll need to make sure that you take a good look at what it is that’s being triggered in you right now. That smell was your first trigger. And things are just going to get more intense from here on out. Give yourself the time and be patient as you learn to work through these traumas.
The Light Will Come
This is probably going to be one of the darkest phases of your life. The curtains are drawn and you’re in a cocoon phase. But pretty soon you’ll emerge as a beautiful butterfly that’s ready to go out and smell all the good things in life. But the time it takes for you to see the light of day again is going to depend on how much effort you put into letting go of your old beliefs.
Your old associations are what’s changing for you now. Just like you associated that smell with something, there are situations that are triggering old responses in you. If you find yourself being triggered more often than not you can use this affirmation to get through the process quicker:
“I let go of the things that are holding me back. Old patterns and triggers are released to make way for new, more uplifting experiences.”
The more you repeat this affirmation the easier it will become to let go of whatever it is that’s keeping you from ascending to a brand-new way of life that’s more spiritually enlightened and fulfilling.
