Your Jesus Message of the Day: Your Body is a Vessel, gifted by the Lord

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies.

I came to you today with a message about the importance of physical health. As your loving guide, I care deeply about every aspect of your wellbeing, including your physical body. Your body is a precious gift, a temple that houses your spirit, and it is important to recognize that, and to treat it with care and respect. That is the minimum you deserve.

1 Timothy 4:8

For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.

Physical health is not just about appearance or vanity, it is about honoring the vessel that allows you to experience life on this Earth. Your body is a magnificent creation, designed especially to function and thrive. Therefore, I urge you to take responsibility for your physical health and make conscious choices that promote vitality and strength. Be your own guide and make good choices that reflect the vessel you desire.

Nurture your body through proper nutrition, for it is fuel for your journey. Choose whole, unprocessed foods that nourish your cells and provide the energy you need to fulfill your purpose. Drink plenty of water, for it cleanses and rejuvenates your system, allowing it to function properly. These are the basic elements we all need to live the best way we can, and without them, you are not functioning to the best of your capabilities.

Jesus’ Love

Exercise your body regularly, for movement is a blessing that invigorates your being. Engage in activities that bring you joy and increase your strength and flexibility. Whether it is a simple walk-in nature or a workout, find what resonates with you and make it a part of your routine. Your body is designed to move, so honor it with regular physical activity that you enjoy and can continue with day after day.

The wise prevail through great power, and those who have knowledge muster their strength. (Proverbs 24:5). This is important to remember when you have those difficult days where you feel like you are not gaining strength or energy.

If you find honey, eat just enough— too much of it, and you will vomit (Proverbs 25:16). Too much of a good thing is something that I do not teach, but some, is enough to appreciate it for the gift that it is.

What Jesus Does For You

Facing Having Got Fit Alone

Rest and rejuvenation are equally important in maintaining physical health. Your body requires adequate sleep to heal and restore itself. Allow yourself the time to unwind and relax, for stress can take a toll on your well-being. Engage in practices such as meditation or prayer to find inner peace and balance. You can do this alone and create a focus surrounding your physical health that you can practice day after day.

Learning The Value of Getting Fit

Your physical health is intertwined with your emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeing. Nurture all aspects of yourself to achieve a harmonious and fulfilling life. Seek balance in your daily endeavors, for excess in any area can disrupt the delicate equilibrium within you and find the great value that underpins these actions. You will be forever rich in doing so.

Allowing Getting Fit to Strengthen You

Above all, approach your physical health with love and gratitude. Treat your body with kindness and compassion, for it is an instrument through which you can express your divine purpose. Embrace a healthy lifestyle as an act of self-love and as a means to serve others more fully. There is strength in finding strength, and even more in retaining it.

Stay In My Love

I am with you every step of your journey, supporting and guiding you towards a life of wholeness. Trust in the wisdom of your body and listen to its messages. You are precious, and your body is to carry you until your ultimate demise. Never abandon it.

Romans 12:1

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

“Keep a good schedule of fitness, and you shall keep a happy, healthy heart.”
