Your Jesus Message of the Day: Be Aware of Your Body, and Your Body Will Thank You Through the Lord

Psalm 103:2-3

Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.

Seeing you grow and evolve daily, it is my duty to address your physical health, and how important it is to maintain it well. Your body is a vessel through which you experience and navigate this earth and look after it you must. Explore the wisdom that lies within the realm of health, and the keys to nurturing your body, mind, and spirit, and think about what you may be ignoring or neglecting in the process.

Proverbs 17:22

A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

Your body is a sacred temple, a divine creation that deserves love, care, and respect. It is a vessel through which you express your soul and fulfill your purpose. Treat your body with kindness, for it is a precious gift that has been bestowed upon you, and one that you cannot replace.

Nurture your body through mindful choices in nutrition. Choose good foods that nourish and sustain you, that bring color and health to the table. Pay attention to the messages your body sends you, for it will let you know when it is out of alignment. Listen to what it needs and provide it with the hydration required to thrive. Embrace a balanced approach and think about how aches and pains can come and go, and that you need to be aware of them.

Jesus’ Love

Exercise and movement are essential parts of a healthy life. Find activities that bring you joy and promote your body. Find a form of movement that resonates with your spirit, whether it be walking in nature, dancing, practicing yoga, or any other activity that elevates your heart rate and promotes physical well-being. Honor your body's need for rest as well, allowing yourself moments of stillness and relaxation to recharge.

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Keep yourself as well as you can, in honor of the Lord.

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds, we are healed (Isiah 53:5). Through the Lord who suffered, you are able to live fully in good health.

What Jesus Does For You

Facing Bad Health Alone

Beyond the physical, recognize the deep connection between your mind and your health. Your thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes have a profound impact on your overall physical health, and your body will offer signs when something is off balance. Grow and find a positive mindset, embracing thoughts that uplift and inspire you. Release negative self-talk and limiting beliefs that hinder your growth. Affirm your worth and embrace a mindset of self-love and self-acceptance, even if you are alone.

Learning The Value of Good Health

It is important to remember that health extends beyond the physical and mental realms. The state of your spirit and the depth of your connection to the divine greatly influence your overall wellbeing. Nurture your spirit through prayer to Me, and in return I will grant you good health. Connect with the divine presence within and around you, for it is through this sacred communion that true healing and wholeness are found.

Allowing Your Health to Strengthen You

Recognize that healing is not always straightforward. There may be times when your body or mind experiences challenges or illness. In these moments, trust in the divine plan and have faith that the healing process is unfolding in its own time and way and use your strength to guide you.

Stay In My Love

While health is a gift to be cherished, it is not an indicator of your worth or spiritual standing. Your worth is important, and should never fade, regardless of the state of your physical health. Embrace self-compassion and extend grace to yourself during times of illness or challenge. Surround yourself with loving support, drawing strength from the connections and relationships that uplift and encourage you, and remember that it is impossible for Me to stop loving you.

3 John 1:2

Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.

"Do not ignore what you feel, for what you feel is real.”
