Prayer for the health of a child
With the birth of a child comes great joy and excitement. A parent's love for their new addition is unparalleled, but it does not come without its challenges; prayer can help us through those tough moments when all seems lost.
Dear Lord,
As I know every child is precious to you, help me to pray for the health of mine.
As I do so, I pray for the good health of all children. May they know what it is like to feel no pain or suffering, and help them to understand that any pain they do feel is not their fault.
Remind them that they are loved and sheltered by you, and that your divine power reassures their love for you.
Lord, may they know the value of true strength in the face of adversity, and may they be able to recover from sickness to be loved the way they deserve.
As their health is restored in your name, may they come to you for thanks, love and guidance.
Please Lord, offer your protection to them, as they grow and feed off your energy and light.
Amen.
