Prayer for the community to overcome the storm
We have all been greatly affected by the recent storm that has hit our community. Our homes and belongings have been destroyed, and some of us are even without power or running water. In times like this, it can be easy to feel lost and overwhelmed. But through prayer, we can find peace and strength in the midst of chaos
Dear Lord,
This community has been my salvation through my entire life. I have seen it ripped apart by natural force and it saddens me greatly to see so many people suffering.
Those who grow crops, who care for others, and who are vulnerable, may recover themselves and continue to provide for us all during our time of need and beyond.
May no harm come to us as our heavy hearts recover from this catastrophe.
You are our rock of protection during times of need, and I have every faith in you to be there for us all.
With one breath, our community has changed. It has been eroded but we know we can find the courage to build a new foundation and start again.
May we remain united and hopeful of a better tomorrow.
