Prayer for Parents' Guidance to Raise a Child
We all need guidance when raising our children, but it can be difficult to find. I pray that you will have the strength and wisdom needed as a parent so your child may one day become an upright person like myself.
Dear Lord,
Thank you for blessing me with a loving family, and healthy children. As I pray to you today, I do so with a loving heart and a protective stance.
New am I to parenthood, Lord, and I ask for your understanding during this change.
It is a love previously unknown and not experienced, and I pray that I have the wisdom to raise my children to be respectful and loving, so that their presence on this Earth is valued and appreciated by those who walk their paths with them.
May I make good decisions that encourage their growth and journey through this life we have all been blessed to share.
May we live in a house of honesty, integrity and good communication as they grow and develop their own personalities, and may you bless me with patience and kindness towards them.
