Dear Lord,

As I look to the future, I see bleak times. My trust in you never falters, and I pray that these bleak times are temporary and that they give me room to grow and learn so that I can become better.

Lord, I had such dreams as a child that one day I would make a difference in this world and help the lives of those less fortunate. .

Please help me push this into reality and give me as many opportunities as you can in this economically bleak world.

May your holy teachings offer me the chance to grow my dreams into fruition so that I can share my success with loved ones and help ease their own worries.

As we watch the world fall to its feet, may it recover and blossom once more. May those who seek similar be reassured under your promise that the world will one day be flourishing and that our fears revert back to hope.
