Prayer of Gratefulness for parents
May the love of your parents fill all spaces within you. May they always know how much their example has meant to us and we ask that these memories never fade away but grow with time as cherished treasured moments between two generations who cherish every moment spent together.
Dear Lord,
With my heart humble, I thank today for my parents.
I can see that their teachings came from you, and were born out of unconditional love and kindness. I can see you in their faces, as their pride and joy express their gratitude for my existence in the same way I express mine for them.
Lord, I thank you for each and every cuddle they are provided me with. For every meal that has nourished me and given me the energy and strength to command my days to the maximum.
Thank you, Lord, for gifting me with compassionate leaders. For their care for me which came from you.
