Prayers for Spiritual Maturity

Sometimes, it seems like life's obstacles can take us off the path we have chosen for ourselves. In those moments, prayer can provide an invaluable guide to lead us back to where we need to be. It is a reminder that we are never alone and that our higher power always has our best interests at heart.

Dear Lord,

Things have happened lately that have been beyond my control. I thought I was able to focus well and walk confidently on my path, but it seems I have become lost.

I walk these unknown woods looking for any sign that will lead me back to the path I am meant to walk, but it is as if I am going round in circles to no avail.

I know you are with me and that I am not alone, but I cannot help but wonder if I will ever scape and feel at ease like I was before.

Lord, the right path is out there waiting for me. Help me gain access to its direction, so that I can, in my own time, lead myself away from this uncertainty.

Give me the strength I need to proceed with this journey and encourage me to never fail or stop believing in myself when the road gets rough.

Hold me in your arms as I walk feeling so alone, and tell me everything is going to be okay.
