Prayer to get through this recession
The great recession has hit us all hard, with many of us facing unexpected loss of jobs and financial hardship. In these uncertain times, it can be difficult to know where to turn for guidance and support. That's where prayer comes in.
Dear Lord,
I kneel before you to pray for those affected by the recession. As people are feeling the strain and pressure more and more, I look for you to shine your divine light on their struggles and offer them solution.
Lord, please help others and bless them with your loving arms surrounding them.
Please show them that the world will recover from this dreadful time, as they look into the unknown future with anxiety and stress.
May those who have faced job cuts please be comforted by the notion that their skills and knowledge will carry them into new opportunities.
Let those who are worried about their personal finances be aware that your grace will endeavour to soothe the burden they are carrying.
Please let this recession come and go with very few bumps along the way.
