Prayer for incoming storm pass us quickly
We hope that this storm passes quickly and doesn't cause too much damage.
Dear Lord,
May the Lord protect us from all harm, and may he bless our lives with peace.
What has happened is sign that the elements you created are strongly at work, and can sometimes clash, creating devastating effects. The aftermath of such storms as this can remind us that our planet is alive and breathing, the same as the day you created it.
Lord, I pray that is incoming storm passes us quickly, and with minimal damage to both structure and hearts.
May those in its path seek early ways to protect their homes, prepare for disaster and remain safe.
As they lose power, may they gain the inner power to get through this terrible time together, knowing that the prayers of many are behind them helping them through their despair and into a new day of peace in the days that follow.
May the storm remind us that there are always greater powers at work
