Prayer to keep us safe from Heavy Rains and Floods
The rain is essential for life as it provides water resources but also causes flooding which could lead to destruction if it does not stop.
The heavy rains and floods will come, but we'll be safe in our homes with this prayer.
Dear Lord,
I pray to you today as you alone can stop the floods and heavy rain. It is beyond my comprehension and ability to be able to make a difference, but I have faith that what you created, you can control.
Please protect us and keep us safe as the fast-moving flow of life and energy sweeps through our towns and villages.
Spare us from the danger that the currents and surges have the power to create.
Keep the homes of others safe, and may they be able to safely live in them when the floods recede.
Please calm the atmosphere, so that we can gain the balance we so badly need in order to strengthen the weak and keep at bay any spread of disease that derives from this terrible event.
Please help the stranded, in your name.
