Prayer for God 's guidance and love
The power of prayer can be felt throughout the world. When someone prays, they reach out to their higher self and trust that God will guide them through life's difficult moments with love on behalf of others as well as themselves.
Dear Lord,
I ask you to hold onto me when the best of me is hard to reach. When I slam all the doors you open, I ask for your guidance and love.
I need your direction as I fathom this new day, and the confusion that comes with it.
Help me to understand my place in this world and ensure that my needs and those I love and care for are met.
As long as you are by my side I feel as though there is nothing I cannot do, but I need to know you are there.
Sometimes I feel lost, and I know those moments can cause me to lose faith in your presence. Knowing you silently protect me from bad choices, I ask you to direct me into calmer, more loyal seas.
Please offer me clarity, and may your words and teachings be like a lamp that lights my way.
Lift me up and take me in your arms as you calm my anxiety and strengthen my faith in you.
