
It's easy to get wrapped up in anxious thoughts and allow them to consume us. We may feel trapped and powerless, but it's important to remember that we have the power to choose our thoughts and reactions. One way to free ourselves from anxious thoughts is through prayer.
Dear Lord,
I beg of you today to please hear my prayer. I ask graciously that you set me free from these anxious thoughts that burden me.
As they weigh me down, my mind creates a realness in them, and I sink lower into my pain and sadness.
Lord, your words are soothing to me, and I need to know you are with me as I push through this jealousy.
Free me not just from thought, but the action that goes with feeling this way. The way I stop doing things I like, or speaking to people I feel are affecting me.
Help me realize this is not their fault, and that I can control my emotions based on these irrational thoughts.
I need your strength to guide me to a place of higher self-regard.
