Prayer for happiness in their heart
Grandparents are often a source of joy and love in our lives, and it's natural to want the best for them. One way we can advocate for their happiness is through prayer. Praying for happiness in their hearts may seem simple, but it opens the door for guidance and blessings from above.
Dear Lord,
I know that your presence beside us means that none of us are lonely. We are extremely fortunate to have God walking our journeys each day, knowing we can rely on you for comfort and strength.
Please offer the same to my grandparents. As they age, they lose people they love. Friends, family and acquaintances are important to them, and it pains me with sadness to have to think of them without.
As the days roll and they become less able, may the comfort of their homes bring them regular visits from those they love and cherish, so that their lives continue to be enriched with love, laughter and company.
Lord, bless them with good relationships with others, and constant loyalty and companionship as they walk with you through older age.
Bless them with joy and pull them out of any loneliness and isolation they may experience.
See that those days are rare, Lord, and offer them new opportunities to always make more friends.
