
Anxiety can be a debilitating condition that leaves you feeling hopeless, powerless and alone. When does your mind start racing with thoughts of what ifs or when will this ever end? Remembering how much life struggles currently affect others around us helps to remind ourselves there are solutions available for managing our own personal challenges in lightening rather than dragging them down into darkness.
The best way to control anxiety is by practicing deep breathing. Take long, slow breaths in order for your body's oxygen levels and brain wave patterns resonate at their most relaxed state of equilibrium (the so-called "warriors' pose").
Dear Lord,
I pray before you today to ask for your help. As I lay my panic and anxiety at your feet, I am asking you to find ways to help me control them.
Remind me of your power, and grant me your humble blessings, so that I can find ways to eradicate this fear within me that festers and holds me back in life.
When this worry encompasses me and leaves me breathless, please remind me that you are with me, and that I am not alone.
Lord, fill me with your peace as I trust in you to guide me to inner serenity and confidence to achieve my innermost desires.
As I am restrained by my own panic, I ask that you open my eyes and heart to a brighter future and relieve me from these debilitating attacks.
