Prayers for Neighbors to be Blessed

Neighbors are often the unsung heroes of our daily lives. From watching out for packages to lending us a cup of sugar, they constantly go above and beyond in supporting the community around them. Today, I am grateful for all of my neighbors who have lent a hand or offered kind words during difficult times.

Dear Lord,

I ask you today to give thanks for my neighbours. As part of my community, they share my time and space, and regularly make themselves known to me through pleasantries and kindness.

They are a gift to me, Lord, as sometimes on the days where I don't feel like smiling, I am offered a chance for a brief yet necessary exchange. A wave, a smile, or an enquiry into my health.

I do not want to take them for granted, Lord, as people I see every day. Whilst this may be true, I pray that you help me honour them and give me the time to appreciate all they do and how much they truly care.

Heavenly Father, we are all your dear children, and we look up to you to be our leader and guider of faith. We commit together to loving you with all our hearts, as one people.

Keep us together, so that we can love you strongly.
