Prayers for Mourning and Loved Ones

We pray for the soul of your loved one. May they find peace in paradise and forgiveness from God, as we try to make their final journey a happy memory thanks to living souls like yourself who remember them with love.

Dear Lord,

This prayer comes to you as one for the departed.

Oh, Lord, let your eternal and perpetual light shine upon them and grant them the peace they need and deserve.

As they have graced us with their presence, they are now in your care forever, walking with you through heaven, and in your grace.

Heavenly God, I pray that your divine compassion extends to their immortal life under your wings of love.

Your power brings us to birth, as you're calling for them to be with you brings them to their passing and as they do so, may they transition to your side of paradise with an extreme love for you.

May they fall into your arms when they die, and leave us with their mark of beauty on Earth.

Allow us to grieve for the departed, whilst finding comfort in knowing they have entered your care.

Lord, we humbly entrust you with our brothers and sisters, in a place with no sorrow, pain or weeping, but instead peace and joy.
